How do they collect these? Do they have to dig them out? Do they think the
season they were collected in had an effect on them?

No they dont feel digging them out of holes is the problem as its hot and dry
there. he feels its the cold that they are subjected to at the airport in
Addis.This makes complete sense to me as I have seen the exact same thing in
West African Hemotheconyx when subjected to cold they just refuse to eat and
waste away.
