Thanks for the advice. What puzzled (puzzles) me is that the rest of the
collection stayed healthy, including the Leopards that were with them (the
Bandeds, of course, were in a separate cage and like the Leopards were
long-term captives). Also, only the females were affected. I thought it might
have something to do with the stress of egg-laying, only the Banded had not
laid any eggs that season.
I still have the male and the two females; they are healthy and producing.
