Hi Nathan,

I have no experience with that particular specie but
in some cases the matting behavior seems like fighting
and biting. it is a kind of courtship.

About the sacks, those are a kind of
calcium/supplement reserves. I have the impression
that this must be a sign of over supplementation.

Hope everything gets well.

Regards,

Pablo

<DIV>just a quick question about my female
pictus.&nbsp; i've been feeding every other day with
dusted crickets and she's got additional supplements
in a dish in the cage.&nbsp; she's laid about 2 dozen
eggs this season so far with no problems.&nbsp; the
problem stems from the male that's in the enclosure
with her.&nbsp; about 2 weeks ago he became very
aggressive with her and bit off her tail.&nbsp; she
would hide and not eat so i removed the male to a
separate cage.&nbsp; there were plenty of hiding
spaces, fresh water, lots of space in the original
cage and only those 2 geckos.&nbsp; now that the male
has been removed it seems as though the female is
still gravid but not laying and she's got a
blister-like (water-filled sac) growth in her front
right "armpit".&nbsp; can anybody tell me what this
growth might be and why she appears to be gravid but
not laying?</DIV>
<DIV>thanks,</DIV>
