Aw... shucks.  it was nothin'.  I also like the bottom part of OLD 2-liter bottles (they don't make 'em like they usta)...the black part that they used to have on the bottom of bottles could be cut off and made into an "igloo" of sorts.  works well for Hemidactylus and things that size.  I suppose Seltzer bottles (1 liter?) still have things like that on the bottom... .and maybe generic brand soda bottles still do too.

As for water bowls for small hatchlings... try the lid to the film canister.  It's very shallow... so you'll have to fill it daily, but it's the right size.  To fill it... try using a mister rather than pouring water in.  This may be harder to do with "spray bottle" types of misting... but works well with the canister/hose thing that I have.  I don't know what that should be called... yellow canister that I have to pump... but then spray water through a hose with an adjustable nozzle.  holds over 1 gallon so fewer refills, and no repeat action... so less hand-cramp.
