Greg and All:
I started using those 2 L bottoms as hide boxes just about the time they went
to the new design. For a year or two I would find discarded bottles around
the trash heaps I where I was looking for snakes.
Also, there was a kit to adapt those old bottles into bird feeders; they just
don't work as well with the new design. Oh well.
