Thanks for the prompt and informative post.  I called UPS, again, and this 
time they gave me the go-ahead!  Although, they suggested pick up, I 
requested to drop the package(s) off at that distribution counter---as I just 
feel safer eliminating one part of the transport process!   I really 
appreciate all your input!

On a side note, last night I had my first F3 Spider gecko (Agamura persica)  
hatchling emerge.  Considering that they originate from eastern Iran, 
Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northwestern India (Gecko Fauna of the USSR and 
Contiguous Regions--Golubev and Malinsky), I doubt that there will be too 
many more of these WC geckos being imported for a while.  This makes it even 
more important to me to keep the captive bred populations going.

Congrats on your recent hatchlings and, also, the new eggs!
