Melissa, You would greatly benefit from the inexpensive book Geckos: a pet owner's manual by Bartlett and Bartlett. This will get you going in learning gecko basics such as terrarium set-up, general husbandry, what makes a good gecko pet, and sexing.
I am not sure the previous posts told you to separate the two, you need to do that so they do not fight to the death. In the gecko world there cannot be two males in your average small terrarium!
