Sorry to hear about your loss. This is part of keeping geckos, as others
have pointed out. Just try to avoid WC altogether and you'll be better
off. Personally I have bred U. lineatus (about 25 to date, two
hatchlings presently), U. phantasticus and U. sikorae. Even then I had
problems with the offspring living more than a year and a half. I am
hoping my addition of full spectrum lighting will do the trick.  A
successful breeder friend used to supplement the Uros with NeoCalglucon
1x monthly, I think this is wise. All my offspring showed signs of
hypocalcemia upon death.
