In situ is fine.  I never removed any Gonatodes or Sphaerodactylus eggs from the enclosure and often found young running around.  Substrate was sandy peat mix under leaf litter.  20W spot with daily highs in mid 80's and lows down to room temps in mid 70's.  I think there is a photo to scale of a 2-3 week old in the photo page.  Pin heads/drosophila are fine, the young are pretty aggressive eaters.  S.notatus aren't the easiest to sex...

Subject: [Gecko] Adopted Sphaerodactyulus notatus gravid?

Hi Folks,

Any advice out there on the "incubation" of an egg from my Sphaerodactylus notatus from Key West, Florida?  substrate, temps, humidity, on lid, or contact with incubation substrate?  How big are the hatchlings?  This adult maxes out at 2".  She was supposed to be male, so this comes as a bit of a surprise!

Peace and hope,
Elizabeth
