I offer my fimbriatus two UVB bulbs, which irradiate the top 12" of the
enclosure, and no D3 supplementation.
It's been working, but I only know that because they are alive and eating
with vigor. I have not noticed any significant weight change, and they are
not breeding for me, but I suspect they are still to young. My experience is
not in-depth, and is only with one pair for the last year. I have never kept
them without UVB lights, and have never offered D3 supplementation.

Subject: [Gecko] Uroplatus and Vit D3

What is everyone's opinion on Uroplatus and Vit. D3
supplementing? Is a UV bulb enough? How often should
D3 be given if in the powder form? What does the term
"hard bones" mean in this case?

Robert
