At the risk of sounding morbid, exactly how would one prepare a gecko skull (or the whole skeleton)? I usually have one or two frozen animals in our spare fridge with the intention of preparing the skeleton (right now it's an adult bearded dragon), but they stay there until we need the space for popsicles, etc. I remember being referred to a site (from this list or from some other group) maintained by a dealer. He described the process he used, but it was pretty general. Also, it invovled maintaining a colony of dermistid (sp.?) beetles, which I have no idea how to acquire and no real desire to maintain. I imagine a series of skulls demonstrating ontogeny would be very interesting.
