Hi Dimitry,

I would say keep it for now,  and nurse it back to health prior to releasing.  By  then you might have a new pet!  Try to rehydrate it with Pedialyte and Gatorade.  Have you a way to photograph it to send either the gecko listserv or me a photo?

I am forwarding your post to the GGA list for better assistance.  There are specialists on our GGA list on Agamura persica.  Are you guys out there tonight?

Will try to attach a photo from my archives.

Dear Ms Freer,
We found a gecko in our garage 2 days ago. He (she) does not
have a tail and seems to be exhausted or sick.
(It's been heavily raining in Sydney this week and it
was sitting on a concrete flour.)
We brought it into the house and made a kind of
terrarium out of a big glass bowl.
There are some care sheets on the gekkota site, but I don't
know its breed. By look of it is closer to the Agamura
Persica. You probably might know what spices populate
around Sydney (Australia).
Please, advise what would be the best care for it. Or should we just release
it instead?
Thanks very much in advance!
Regards,
Dmitry Przhedetsky.

Peace and hope throughout the whole year,
