My experience so far has been that not only will they not interbreed, the 
more boisterous behavior of the upland type will also disrupt the breeding of 
the lowland animals.
I am very eager to hear from other breeders regarding this, as my 
observations are limited to my collection only.
Also, my lowland types display no green on the underside. So "less green",  
from what I have seen, depicts the upland type.
