hello everyone,
quick question:
it concerns my pair of fanfoot geckos. i believe they are ptyodactylus
guttatus (not exactly sure but i have attached a picture of mine). they
were wild caught when i bought them but that was almost a year ago and they
are now well acclimated and healthy. just recently i have noticed small red
dots (about 1mm diameter) on their skin. there are only about three
dots/gecko...not very many at all, and they are never in the same spot when
i look at them again. right now, some are on the feet, and one is in the
ridge of skin surrounding the eye. are these external mites? if so, how
would i go about getting rid of them? do i even have to get rid of them?
thanks,
nathan
