My original point was: why try to duplicate non-profit information sites, when we could be helping to improve the already existing sites with photos, care-sheets, or even becoming a member. Unless there is another motive. As far as the "Blatant commercial solicitation on this Listserve" comment that was made. It is nearly impossible to keep the first commercial posting from someone subscribed to the Listserve, without going to a moderated list. But it is fairly easy to keep the second and further posts from reaching the list by removing the offending subscriber if necessary.
