Did she burrow the egg? Or did she laid it where she normally poops? I found out when there was something wrong with the eggs (infertile) our females laid there eggs in the poop corner of the enclosure or somewhere around. Otherwise they burrowed it nicely in the right place.

Hi everyone,
My leopard gecko, who was pregnant, layed 1 egg on Monday.
I was there when she layed it,and i put it in the incubator right away.  I waited for her to lay her second egg, but she didn't.  I felt her stomach, and I didn't feel an egg.  Then today (friday) I see that she layed the other egg.  I don't know when she layed it, but it had to be between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.  Unfortunately it had collapsed, fluid had leaked out, and the top was hard.  Since I thought she was finished laying her eggs, I took out the moist vermiculite I had in the tank.  So she layed it right on the sand, and I sprayed the sides of the tank around 8:30 am.  So it wasn't very humid.
My first question is is it normal for leopard geckos to lay their eggs 4 days apart.?  If so, could the egg have collapsed in 4 hours from being too dry?  Or was something wrong with that egg or her delivery?  Any answers would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
Jill
