Questions about our membership year are common.
To simplify this as much as possible, our membership year is not a
traditional 12 month period, we follow a "volume" or publishing year. Your
membership for this last year included Gekko Volume 2, No. 1 and Volume 2,
No. 2 and Chit Chat 5, 6, 7, and 8. In length of time, it started in August
of 2001 and ended March 1, 2002.
The membership that we are asking you to renew is the 3rd Volume Year of
Gekko, including Gekko Volume 3, No. 1 and Volume 3, No. 2 and Chit Chat 9,
10, 11, and 12.
Our long term goal is to have each publishing year completed in a twelve
month time period. So far, our commitment to producing a quality
publication and fulfilling our obligations to the members has taken
precedence.

I just looked on the web page and nothing indicates that renewal in needed
every April. Again, I am glad to pay yearly dues, but I need to get a year's
worth of membership. I really enjoy GGA, but I need to be careful with my
money.
