I would recommend having the gecko identified. Without proper
identification, you do not know how to properly care for the gecko. I would
check out the GGA web site and see if any of the pictures look like your
gecko. Another thing I would do is try and get a fecal sample from this
animal and have a vet check it for parasites. If the geckos has a parasite
infestation, this could be the reason that it is thin and not gaining weight.
