I have a method that works well for me so far.  I put a nesting box into the
enclosure.  I use a whip cream container, add moist soil about 1/2 the
height (more moist than the substrate) close the container, and put a hole
in the top big enough for the female to enter.

So far females have never laid any other place than in the enclosure.

I have a few clear plastic containers, and I can check for eggs by looking
under the container.  If there are eggs I can see them from the bottom
without digging through the dirt.
