[Gecko] Leopard Gecko now has matted eyes, please help!

I got most of her skin off by soaking her and i got some of the skin off from covering her eyes.  She can't open them unless I soak them with water.  How can I remedy this?  Should I take her to a vet?  Thanks in advance for any help.   Ben James
