Those silly lizards went ahead and did it! After, of course, I had given up.
The eggs were laid sometime in the past three days and, sadly, both have
little dimples :(. Is there any chance of saving them? I remember that this
is a bad sign. I'm running around setting up an aquarium incubator because,
of course, I wasn't ready. I used vermiculite and water, damp to the touch
and clumping a little, but not wet. I'm setting the temperature to about 82
and will prop the lid for a lower temp at night. Doe this sound right? Crazy
kids, at least now I know they CAN make more lizards (well, if the eggs are
fertile).
Thanks for any help!
Kathy
PS. I also posted this to kingsnake, sorry if it's the second time for you
:)
