Hello Daniel,
The 'big' gecko with the characteristic black/brown lateral stripes
and the skinny tail is S. petrii (mistakenly called Crossobamon).
There are two forms of S. sthenodactylus commonly imported into the pet
trade, the round-nosed or blunt-nosed form and the pig-nosed or
tube-nosed variety (the latter is most often labeled as S. petrii). They
are almost certainly different species but for now are lumped into S.
sthenodactylus. Defining which of these is "actually" S.
sthenodactylus can be done by figuring out which of these two forms
matches up with the type specimen(s).
