can subscribe to Journal of Herpetology, Herpetological Review and Catalogue of
American Amphibians and Reptiles directly through the SSAR homepage (http://www.ukans.edu/~ssar/). The
journals are mostly technical as you yourself pointed out, but never the less
quite interesting for hobbiest as well -----Original
