I'm trying to identify some Hemidactylus I've caught here in Florida where I live. I've caught 3 different geckos that look basically similar with minor overall differences. One was caught in Miami, FL about 2-3 hours drive south of me. I'm pretty sure that gecko was Hemidactylus mabouia from checking out some pics. The gecko labeled H_home is H. garnotii and these are very common around my house. A few weeks after catching the Hemidactylus sp. in Miami, I found a standout Hemidactylus at my house, not like the ones I'm used to. This one was near adult size, but thickly banded. It looks a lot like the other H. garnotii around, but banded and with more tubercles. Here's a link to the pics, they should be able to lead in an identification for anyone that can.
