I can't remember if I asked this before or not. How many P. picta do you
think could comfortably live in a 20gal long? (That's 30" x 12" (about 76cm
x 30cm)) How much space does a single picta need to be comfortable (not
cramped!) I have a female living with 2 other females who is a bit
near-sighted (ok, very near-sighted) and I sometimes worry about her
getting enough food. (Then again, she's the only one of the three whose
tail fattens up a whole lot, but she does have a regenerated tail.)

Does anyone else have picta who just don't seem to fatten up much (in the
tail) no matter how much food you offer?
One of the other two (who doesn't fatten up) escaped for a whole year, so I
know she can hunt!

Thanks,
Camille
