My apologies. I am only asking this silly question
because it is sort of urgent. An egg rolled in my incubator and the mark that
was "up" is no longer up. It has been 4 days since the egg was laid. I examined
the egg and saw the normal ring of vessels around the perimeter and a strange
red "blob" at the top of the egg. This "blob" has a little heart that I can see
beating. Is this "blob" (i.e.: embryo) supposed to be on the top of the egg or
on the bottom of the egg? Please help me. Instinct tells me the embryo should be
at the bottom but something doesn't seem right.
This is a spider gecko egg if that's
important.
Thanks,
Mike
