My female Grande Terre is like this; however, I manage to stay out of biting range. Leachies and ciliatus are the only geckos I have kept that start the biting and chewing process before the crickets are in their mouth!

Hi J,

Has anyone ever seen a leachy bite?

Uh, yup - She must have gotten you on a good day: mine (a GT) leaves perfect puncture marks, and she doesn't let go until it starts to bleed, LOL. And she does death rolls better than any alligator.

She loves baby food, crickets and pinkies, but her favorite food is fingers, especially homo sapiens barbii, :)

This animal has always been extremely mellow, was this a freak accident? or do the get less mellow with age?
Her name is Jaws, and I don't expect her to mellow out until Mars returns next time. My solution? A pair of eighteen inch hemostats :)
