[gecko]My Leachianus bit me!

Hi-
Has anyone ever seen a leachy bite? I was feeding my normally calm Ana isle when I accidently tapped her on the back while placing the food dish. She was not trying for the food, but was obviously startled . She let me have it with two quick strikes to my hand. No blood, but it sure did scare the crap outta me.
This animal has always been extremely mellow, was this a freak accident? or do the get less mellow with age?
