Do leopard geckos actually occur in the vicinity of Kabul? Kabul is at considerable altitude, nearly 6000 feet (1800m), and the average (not average minimum) temperature in Jnauary and February is below freezing. Yes they do exist in the Kabul valley near human dwellings. In January there average high is 40F and the average low is 19F with a mean temp of 28F. In February the average high is 41F and the average low is 21F with a mean temp of 31F.
