Sounds reasonable.
Tortoises have a large lifespan.
Any specific observations?

I was thinking something like..
Reptiles who are higher up in the food chain and have a more omnivorous
diet as well as a longer lifespan have a higher IQ than the smaller
species? Does this sound far fetched?

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents.  

I'm certainly not an expert on all reptiles, but from my experience...I
have seen more intelligence from large tortoises than any other reptile
I've worked with.  I also would rank cobras very high.
