I just started to read these e-mails again since holidays are over and I will admit to having offered baby food to my leopard geckos before. My females accepted it quite willingly.
I'm sure there is more to their natural diets then we are aware of (As that article by Mr.Frye had nicely displayed), to believe we know everything about them would be pretty presumptuous of ourselves would it not?
After all, we barely even know what we should be eating for optimal health ;)
