Yes...I too would be curious to learn what all of you use for substrate. I myself started with nothing, just the plastic bottoms of Rubbermaid Sweater boxes. However I have since started using paper towels as I have found in most cases I can simply change them out instead of taking out the entire box and cleaning it.
This doesn't work 100% of the time but it does beat cleaning 100% of the boxes each week.
