Hi, I use Slate bought from Home Depot (comes in tile sizes). Cracked em into suitable sizes with a hammer, and boiled them. Then I lay them in the tank however way, and glue the pieces together (not to the tank) with a hot glue gun so they don't wobble or get moved. Then I pour Children's Play Sand over it to fill in the cracks inbetween.
I had read somewhere that the natural environment of leopard geckos don't include loose sand, that it was more packed down clay/rock. Sorry, don't know if this is even accurate, I don't have the source anywhere, but that's what inspired me to use slate instead of just plain sand. -Karin >===== Original Message From red-eye <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ===== >Hello, >I have been keeping leopard geckos for a about 10 years now.
