Thanks for the information. I am being the sponge as well. I am really
sorry that you are having this problem and I hope your herps are on the
mend.

Julie,

You have be severely helpful, I recently got the book "understanding
reptile parasites" has some good info for a sponge like me, but is lacking
specific information on life span.

As far as how long I had the gecko before they appeared ill was the day
they were shipped there was supposed to be a male & female hypo pair the
female arrived DOA and the first fecal deposit was wet now understand at the
time I had only had geckos for 2 weeks and he was the second we had ever
had. Meaning I only had 2 weeks of experience and 1 gecko to compare with.
But over the course of a few days each fecal was worse than the last in
terms of odor.

He was placed with my female upon receipt, which I have had for 2 weeks
prior to the male's arrival. Her stool was hard and dry to the point it did
not make a wet spot on a paper towel, Unlike the males stool upon his
arrival.

As far as his success with herbal treatments and such I can't vouch for
him, If you want to talk with him I can send you his e-mail off list.

Paul
