Are you clicking on the gecko mailing list link at the bottom of each post? That should lead you step by step through the unsub process. I have used it once or twice without any issues. The webmaster is going to get tough on folks still using HTML real soon, no worries there.
For Barbara, what browser do you have? With Netscape you go to your address book, click on the e-mail address, bring up the address "card," look under "internet" and select "prefers to receive messages formatted as: plain text (on the drop down menu)."

Good point. I've written s few times in the past and have gotten good advice from this group. I tried to unsubscribe a couple different times, but I still keep getting the list. The reason I want to leave is, the gecko I caught about a year died shortly after I caught it, and I needed some advice while I had it. I love reptiles, so I still skim through all the mailing I get from the list. But how in the world can I stop all the HTML tags at the end of the messages?? It's real anoying.
Thanks
