Melody:

A laceration to the calcium sac will heal.  Take the same precautions as you
would with any deep cut:  keep it clean, remove her from the male (as you
said you are going to do), and if it is a seriously large wound consider
taking it to a veterinarian for care as he/she would have methods to suture
the wound.
