Hi Dana!

Hi Julie -

I put my T-Rex vitamins in the fridge as opposed to the freezer. Is there any big difference? Is it much better to freeze?

Freezing is what was recommended to me by Allen Repashy who makes the T-Rex foods.

Another question about these vitamins - for example, the T-Rex cricket dust ICB - can you mix them into baby food?

Yes you can, just don't mix it into the T-Rex foods, they already have vitamins in them.

I've been using it solely as a dust for crickets.

I use that mostly for leopards and terrestrials. The Phelsuma get Susan Donohue's Gecko Performance vits most of the time.

Off the subject, but would you or anyone else on the list have any recommendations for a relative newbie like myself for gecko/reptile magazines and/or journals?

I think Elizabeth has that covered. You might check out http://www.beanfarm.com for old IGS (International Gecko Society) journals, sometimes they have some.

Hi William,

I am told you can freeze the T-Rex food for about a year, I am sure this
applies to Susan's food as well.

Julie,

How long can you freeze Susan's vitamins for? Can you also freeze her cricket
food too?

Thanks,
William

Quoting Julie Bergman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I think Susan's vitamins are hard to beat - this is worth any
inconvenience if it prevents your gex from croaking. Metabolic issues
are huge with Uroplatus, and she has a combo that works. Just order
ahead and freeze the stuff. Folks can do this with the T-Rex stuff
too, either in powder form or mixed with water. :)
