Hi -
Thanks for your info - I'm definitely taking this guy to the vet - I did find something else in his stool today, which was little worm things (I think) that looked like little grains of rice. I'm thinking that he has tapeworms possibly - at least from what I can tell from reading the book I have on reptile parasites.
- Thanks,
Dana

Hi,

I had the same problem with my L. kimhowelli and it's serious. I
would take him to the vet as soon as possible. Also change what ever
substrate you have him on right away. I found that it was the grainy
substrate that caused urate to be stuck to my geckos vent. It killed
him in the end. What a way to die eh?

Hi All -

I have a question about my adult male grandis. A week to 2 weeks ago I
noticed that he had a clump of urates stuck to his vent. I figured
that it would go away; however, now that it is still there I am
wondering if he's got a problem, or if he's just dirty and there's
nothing to worry about. I recently had a fecal done and it came back
negative.

I would appreciate any info or opinions on this, and thanks in advance!
