As many of you know I have been using UPS to ship 99% of my geckos since 2001. Back then I got a written authorization to ship lizards from UPS, and I had to carry the letter with me if I used any UPS while traveling. In my new spring UPS publication RoundUPS there is a column on a policy change - they no longer require written approval to ship live animals from their list of approved animals. That means any UPS shipper can now use UPS to ship your geckos! Their requirements are posted here:

They are also willing to ship some insect species, including all worms! Sorry, roaches will not be getting ride in the brown truck! ;)

They restrict UPS for live animals to Next Day Air only, and ship only from Mon-Thurs. Personally I only ship Mon-Wed. to stay well clear of any accidentall weekend delays!
