Hi Julie,
I doubt that there are 10 "popular and easy to keep" species of
Phelsuma, but I would suggest the madagascariensis complex -- grandis,
mad mads (my personal favorite), kochi and boehmi. Of these, I'd only
rate grandis as "popular" although I'd like to see that change,
especially with the population of juvenile mad mads at my house! I
don't think kochi and boehmi are readily available, and a species can't
be popular if people can't get it, or never see it so they don't know
they want it. Then there's the laticuada group and the lineatas -- most
are relatively easy, though only a few species are popular and readily
available. I wouldn't call klemmeri, cepediana, or ornata easy, though
they might be popular in that a lot of people would like to have them.
Hope this helps,
Melody

Hey Gexers!
I need some help with a book project. Please name 5-10 popular and easy
to keep Phelsuma (Day Geckos) and 5-10 other types of popular geckos you
would like to see featured in a book.
Happy 4th of July!
