For FC6, I did a "yum install" of these:
perl-Gtk2
perl-Gtk2-GladeXML
I suspect just perl-Gtk2-GladeXML would have been sufficient to pull
in the other, though.
Now your script is complaining that it wants ~/.gEDA/gafrc, and won't
use ./gafrc (or default to not needing one).
Suggestions:
If you hit "enter" in the "search for" field, it should do the search.
There should be a way of moving the vertical divider left or right.
Scaling the image to fit your window would be nice.
The symbol backgrounds will always be white; setting the background
of your preview window to match may make it look nicer.
Adding the URL to the top info window might be useful.
Making the author's info be a link to their page may be useful.
"Save" doesn't ask me where to save, nor does it tell me where it was
saved to. It seems to put it in the last component-library it finds,
but my gafrc has 24 directories so the last one isn't the best one.
Perhaps the save button could give you a list of your gafrc
directories, with an "other directory..." option?
I wonder if scaling the image to fit your preview window would be
better than scrolling to see the whole thing.
