If you display a schematic with a "stack" of instances, it is implied and
a good meaning to standardize on, that each instance is identical in every way
including attributes attached all the same list, (except for the reference 
number - the refdes or instance ID),
else instantiate them non-stacked and make the separate ones different.

Does that open up anything you were thinking of?

That's how I'd prefer things...like chip design tools...even if we can't scale 
up to
100M transistors with gschem or PCB....yet :-)
