These comments have hopefully now been incorporated in what I (hope) is
my last round of mods to the schematic and symbol mime icons.

I've had a few stabs at gsch2pcb project file icons too - although I
dread to try scaling the ideas down to 16x16. (Thankfully app icons
don't usually need to go down as far as that, 22x22 is small enough!).

Take a look at the bottom of the page. My preference is the 4th one. I
gave up trying to show detail in a green PCB, and opted to try and
represent a view as "on screen". NB: I like and use a dark colour
schemes in PCB layout editors.
