You'll need to git clone peter's repository, as described in his
message:

If you already have a gaf git repository, you can add my git repository as
a "remote":

  git remote add peter-b git://repo.or.cz/geda-gaf/peter-b.git
  git fetch peter-b

And then you should be able to get my error-reporting branch using:

  git checkout peter-b/error-reporting

You'll need intltool installed first, then:

make reconfig
cd libgeda/po
make libgeda30.pot

(NB.. 30 is the major version of libgeda.so. This is actually OLDER in
the git repository than the latest release, the latest release had its
version bumped on the release branch - and the MASTER branch was never
updated). Before we release, this file will be renamed to a different
number - but translations should be unaffected.

There is a German translation for gschem, under gschem/po/de_DE.po
which might be helpful I guess (perhaps some words / phraseology are
common, or need keeping similar in both).

PS.. If you are willing, xgsch2pcb needs translations too. You can grab
the latest .pot file here:

http://git.gpleda.org/?p=xgsch2pcb.git;a=blob_plain;f=po/geda-xgsch2pcb.pot
