I have a partial patch to do the same with the GTK HID, and also noted a number of places where it seemed to be OK to remove redraw calls. Ivan reported a regression when testing them though, so its not quite ready to push. I suspect the idle fixes might help in a non-breaking way, although they do make the GUI feel slightly less responsive when scrolling with the mouse wheel (less feedback on screen because PCB doesn't really hit IDLE if you keep sending it scroll commands). > > Is the current GTK/PCB broken? > > The dicer is, well, suboptimal.
