Its an 8 channel logic input interface board for a power converter.
24V industrial logic in -> I2C bus out. I'm building power electronics
for renewable energy power conditioning, and the house-keeping stuff is
keeping me really busy! Its amazing how simple sub-circuits like this
one can take so long to design and lay out.

I'm certainly feeling first hand where there could be some improvements
in slot handling and block re-use. Currently there is a master channel
schematic, and a Makefile which uses a modifed refdes_renum and sed to
re-jig part numbers and slotting. (Each channel shares a quarter of a
comparator chip).

I did the replication in PCB by hand (copy-paste, renumber parts). Each
channel has subtly different routing to the two comparator chips.
