Bizarre, hopefully this problem won't be too common feature of xgsch2pcb usage. I know Stuart had problems before (with a distro which didn't auto-start DBus as part of its desktop). I've written the basics of an interface for gschem which allows a client to query what files are open. The next step will be exporting an API to query the attributes of selected objects on a particular page. The missing glue will be the association between the schematic page file-name and the PCB filename, perhaps also rules to add appropriate prefixing of refdes. I may look at whether it is possible to add a similar "server" type API to gnetlist, for it loiter around after its done its processing, and have it sit answering questions on the hierarchy of the design. -- Peter Clifton Electrical Engineering Division, Engineering Department, University of Cambridge, 9, JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FA Tel: +44 (0)7729 980173 - (No signal in the lab!) _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
