Hi Ed,

Please remember to make sure that every patch sent to the list has a full
enough commit message at the top that it can be understood -in isolation-.
Please don't assume that everybody knows what you're talking about when you
refer to "previous submitted patch"!

In particular, "misc cleanup" is okay in the short one-line summary of a
patch -- but you should include a fuller explanation of what exactly the
cleanups are in the extended commit message.

This probably seems like nit-picking, but it makes reviewing patches -- and
tracking down problems later -- one heck of a lot easier!
