My last pcb had similar non features. There was a small empty anular ring around some vias. Because I usually replace all rats by explicit tracks the pcb would have been ok, anyway. However I got a call by the fab who suspected a fault at these places. Their DRC check must have detected tghe tiny gap in the gerbers.
