> What model are you using? I'm using an Epson R280, but only because it came free with my digital camera. It does 2880x5760 but I use 2880x2880 for the films. Also, I've tried quarter sheets but the printer can't get as good a grip on them as it can a half sheet, and ends up mis-registering some passes. So half sheet it is for me.
The black R280 ink offers about eight steps of UV blocking, which is plenty for UV exposure. I haven't even tried the other colors yet. > Sources for Silkjet film and what else is needed to duplicate your > results? I've been working with a local distributor - www.vpcinc.com - to sort out the various types of films and ordering information. They carry SilkJet, Jetstar, and Jetstar Premium. The key (and problem) with these films is that they're only coated on one side, and sometimes it's really hard to tell which side is which. I've been watching the natural curve of the film, and marking a corner on both sides to see which smudges less, to determine which side is coated. _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
